Day 274: Finally MCPD

After planning for an year to upgrade my old Microsoft certification and failing to do it two weeks ago, I'm finally happy to announce that I passed the exam and am now Microsoft Certified Professional Developer.

Specialist say this will be one of the hottest certifications for 2008:

"This has been a rocket since last year. Demand for these developers are up over 80% compared to last year, and does not seem to be slowing down any time soon. There are only a little over 3000 currently with the certification. If you are looking for a certification track, I would give this one a lot of consideration."

... and here is what Microsoft says:

"The Microsoft Certified Professional Developer: Web Developer (MCPD: Web Developer) certification demonstrates that you have the comprehensive skills that are required to build interactive, data-driven Web applications that use ASP.NET 2.0 for both intranet and Internet uses."

Yeah, I guess so.
